Senior Backend Engineer 路 Messaging & Ingestion
Own the architecture and performance of the pipelines behind Merdot Track and Merdot Connect. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems and real-time delivery, building systems that process and send thousands of events per minute.
- 5+ years backend engineering experience
- Strong distributed systems design background
- Experience with high-throughput data pipelines
- Comfort working in Python, Go, or Rust

AI Research Engineer 路 Merdot AI
Work on Merdot AI, the reasoning engine behind chat, writing and analysis across the ecosystem. You will develop and refine classification, sentiment and generation models that operate at production scale for everyday users and businesses.
- Strong ML engineering background with production deployment experience
- Deep familiarity with NLP and text classification
- Experience with multilingual models a plus

Data & Insights Analyst
Bridge the gap between what Merdot Track and Merdot Connect surface and what our clients need to act on. You will translate platform data into usable insights, validate AI classifications against real-world context and support client-facing reporting.
- Background in data analysis, marketing analytics or related field
- Comfort working with sentiment and messaging-delivery data
- Fluency in Hindi and English; additional Indian languages a plus
- Experience writing structured analytical products for business audiences
- Ability to handle client data with discretion
Product 路 Full-time 路 Remote / Ahmedabad
Product Manager 路 Business Messaging
Own the product experience for Merdot Connect 路 the businesses and developers who send Email, WhatsApp and SMS through our platform. You will work directly with client teams to translate their workflows into product decisions.
- 4+ years product management experience, ideally in messaging or communications software
- Strong qualitative research and user interview skills
- Ability to navigate developer and business stakeholder needs together
- Experience with API-first or developer-facing products a plus
- Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
